Meet the Team

Jeremy joined CJR in 1997 as a Permanent Consultant and progressed through the ranks to his current position as Joint MD, working closely with Sue in the day to day running of the business whilst retaining a particular focus on the Permanent Division and all things IT (well… someone had to volunteer!).  He is a keen advocate of quality in all that CJR does and believes that providing fantastic service is the key to ongoing success!  Now living in East Sussex, Jeremy enjoys the fresh air, views and especially his young and growing family!

Over 36 years experience in recruitment as both Permanent and Temporaries Consultant.  Sue joined CJR in 1979 and for the past 20 years+ has managed the Temporaries Division of the company.  An active supporter of the REC, she takes a keen interest in Employment Legislation and in helping to raise Industry Standards. In her spare time Sue enjoys gardening, reading and enjoying time with her family.

Permanent Division

Sasha has been with CJR since January 2005 and is a Senior Consultant on the Permanent team. Having spent many years working in Publishing and PR in London, it was time for a change so after registering with Jeremy and telling him; “I have no idea what to do next”, her new career direction began!  In 2009, Sasha became a mummy to a beautiful boy.

Michelle FragniereMichelle Fragniere: Consultant Permanent Division

Michelle joined the team in 2010, bringing years of experience in commercial recruitment to her role as a Permanent Consultant.  She enjoys building relationships and managing accounts and has a good local knowledge of Croydon and surrounding areas.  Michelle looks after many of our Financial Services based clients in addition to working with a broad range of other organisations. In her free time Michelle likes to shop, socialise and spend time with her young son.

Camy also joined us in 2010 as a Permanent Consultant and has relished taking on a new challenge, being part of the team and helping to increase the success of the business.  In 2011 she got married and changed from an Edwards to a MacDonald.  Camy has previous working experience incuding several years of retail management as well as experience in reception, administration, sales and as a regional trainer.  At CJR she has a particular focus on the Retail and FMCG sectors in addition to working with other clients.  In her spare time Camy enjoys going to the gym, playing badminton and socialising with friends to discover new bars, restaurants and clubs around London. 

Rosie JeffreysRosie Jeffreys: Resourcer / Marketing Assistant

Rosie joined CJR in 2010 as a Resourcer, having temped since 2009 for several of our clients with rave reviews.  Little did she know when she first met us that fate would bring her into the CJR family and she says she couldn’t be happier.  Previous working experience was in Marketing Admin and Rosie is now responsible for booking appointments for candidates to register with us, advertising vacancies, searching on-line databases, updating our website and the marketing of our business.  Rosie is also our very own "Environmental Champion" making sure we are on top of green issues at CJR.  In her spare time, she likes to get out and about with friends, and loves walking her 2 dogs.

Temporary Division

Tom joined Catherine Johnstone Recruitment in December 2007 after two years working within a busy customer service helpdesk for a growing IT Maintenance company.  He now works alongside Sue on the Temp desk specialising in providing temporary and contract staff to both public and private sector clients.  With extensive knowledge of all the major clients in the area and an outstanding candidate base, Tom is able to deliver a first class recruitment service.  Tom is an avid socialiser but when he is not out on the town, he loves nothing more than participating in sports such as golf, tennis and football or going to watch his beloved Millwall FC. 

Jules MoodyJules Moody: Consultant Temporary Division

New to the team in 2011, Jules brings experience with her having worked in the recruitment sector for 6 years covering commercial recruitment and also welfare to work.  Her strengths lie in relationship building and sourcing new business and she joins the busy temp desk at CJR with a view to developing existing and prospective clients and providing them with an exceptional service.  Outside of work, Jules loves watching movies and throwing dinner parties.    

June AndersonJune Anderson: Payroll & Temporaries Administrator

June is our Payroll & Temporaries Administrator.   She joined us in May 2008 after 4 years temping for the agency and was previously a Client of CJR so she knew us well! Her background is mainly in HR/Payroll but she also worked overseas for a long period in a variety of administrative roles.  In her spare time she loves to shop and can often be found eating out with friends.

Support Team

Angie CloseAngie Close: Reception

Angie is our front of house ambassador and a familiar face to our many candidates and temps!  Joining CJR in July 1999 after previous secretarial and reception positions, Angie has become an integral part of our Support team and works very closely with Tanya.  At home on the front desk, Angie enjoys being the first point of contact and has the knack of making everyone arriving at CJR feel instantly at ease with her warm and friendly greetings.  Angie is also a highly creative individual with a passion for crafts and designing and producing wonderful hand made cards.

Tanya Mooneapillay: Support Secretary

Tanya joined us in November 2000 having temped for CJR and had previously worked for Directors of several companies as a secretary.  She is now an invaluable member of the team working as a Support Secretary with wide ranging duties including maintenance of company files and procedures, supplier liaison, covering on reception when required and providing secretarial support to Senior Management as required.  Tanya says she thoroughly enjoys the close, friendly working environment at CJR.

Accounts and Administration

Jo joined CJR in 2001, working within the finance “department” dealing with the payroll for all of our temporary workers.  In the middle of 2009 she progressed to become our Accounts Manager and is currently studying for the final stage of the AAT qualification which takes up much of her spare time.  However, when she does have time to herself, she likes to socialise with her friends and family and loves spending time with her nephew.

Having known CJR for nearly 30 years, originally as our auditor, Anne joined CJR in 2006 and is now working part time as our Accountant - a very varied role, not always involving figures!

In her time with us, Anne has been instrumental in a number of changes, the most challenging being the change from partnership to limited company via sole trader.

 

Aaron Kerrigan- Senior Consultant Permanent Division

Aaron joined CJR in 2005 after 4 years in Sales and Financial Services. He is an industry qualified consultant with extensive commercial recruitment knowledge having worked in both the permanent and temporary divisions.  Aaron is now focused on client relationships within our successful temporary and contract division.

 

Out of work hours you will probably find Aaron relaxing and socialising in one of many country pubs near his new rural abode.
