Registering for Permanent Work
If you're considering registering for permanent work, here's how we can help you:
Make time to come and see us - we can't represent you unless we have met; calling or e-mailing ahead of your visit to arrange an appointment ensures one of our consultants is free with sufficient time to talk through your needs.
The Interview - during your interview with us, we will discuss your experience and skills and assess your particular strengths and weaknesses. More importantly though, we'll discuss the direction in which you wish your career to progress and explain how we believe we can help. We'll also be frank with you and give an honest opinion of your potential and helpful guidance on market conditions. You're free to ask for whatever advice you want - we are here to help.
After the Interview - the consultant with whom you are registered will draw up detailed notes, prepare a CV for our use and enter your details on our computerised database. We will then match your requirements with our vacancies, contacting you to discuss opportunities as they arise. The nature of our business makes it impossible to keep in touch with all our candidates on a very regular basis. We therefore rely on you to keep us posted if there is a change in your circumstances. Please do let us know - it is only if we're kept in the picture that we can continue to represent you effectively.
The Job Search - whilst we work on a good many positions at any one time, our clients normally have very specific requirements. This may mean we have nothing suitable straight away. Do be assured however, that you will be under active consideration for every new position and will be contacted when your career and job search criteria match our clients' specific needs. When your suitability for a position is established, we will contact you prior to dispatching your details - it is only in this way that we can protect your integrity. Unfortunately, there are other agencies who do not adhere to this practice and we strongly recommend that you do not give other agencies an "open brief". The results can be disastrous if your details are circulated around the area without your knowledge!
Placement - once we've made an appointment for you with a client, it's important we hear from you with your feedback after the interview. In turn, we will always contact you as soon as the client has made a final decision.
In conclusion - if you decide to register with us, we'll do our utmost to find you the right job and hope that you'll derive benefit from your association with us.
If you'd like us to help with your search for permanent work, we'd be delighted to hear from you. Please do send us your CV.
If it's temporary work that you're ideally after then make that move to becoming a CJR Temp.
